Palacio de la Prensa

Commercial multiplex in Madrid, Spain Part of Palacio de la Prensa · Opened 2 Jan 1929

Active three-screen cinema venue in Madrid, opened as a single-screen cinema 1929-01-02 (formal building inauguration April 1930) in a Pedro Muguruza-designed tower, then Madrid's tallest building. Converted to a multiplex in 1989: Sala 1 (532 seats) plus twin Salas 2/3 (about 200 seats each — not exact enough to record) and a basement multi-use Sala 0. Current listings and the venue site confirm regular public screenings; no screen dimensions or projector models were found in the sources reviewed.
