Closed cinema venue in Rome with 2 screens, historically known for hosting the Italian premieres of La Dolce Vita (1960) and 8½ (1963) and the first David di Donatello ceremony (1956). Closed since 2017. A documented renovation is under way: Gruppo Caroli (with Associazione Culturale PlaytownRoma and architecture studio Alvisi Kirimoto) is converting the building into a 2,850 sqm cultural hub preserving a 165-seat ground-floor room and adding a 70-seat upper room with a 35mm projector; works were reported to start August 2026 and last about 18 months.
