Historic cinema in the Art Deco Galleria San Federico, designed by architect Eugenio Corte and engineer Giovanni Canova and inaugurated on 31 March 1934 as Cinema Rex; with 1,573 seats (800 stalls, 700 balcony) it was then Turin's largest cinema. Renamed Dux in 1942 and Lux in 1945. Radically restructured from 2004 (closed 2005) into three screens of 151, 206 and 167 seats with a refreshment area, it reopened on 20 November 2009 with 3D on all screens. Operated by Movie Planet (Movie Planet Torino Lux). Closed by the prefecture after safety checks in late January 2026 and partially reopened on 21 March 2026 with two of its three screens.
