Community cinema in Amsterdam, Netherlands Part of Rialto · Opened 8 Sept 2021
A community-oriented cinema in Amsterdam Nieuw-West with a current public programme and three dedicated screening rooms plus a flexible event room. For human review (Sept 2026 crawl): this file's chain is recorded as "Rialto", but oxville.nl/over-ons and independent press (rodi.nl, filmkrant.nl) describe Cinema De Vlugt as an independent initiative of Stichting Oxville — Rialto's director gives informal advisory support only, not chain ownership/operation; left as "Rialto" pending confirmation rather than overwritten. This file's opened date is 2021-09-08, but filmkrant.nl (5 Oct 2022) and rodi.nl both state the venue opened on 8 September 2022 (day/month match, year differs by one); left as-is pending confirmation. This file's address.postalCode is "1063 BIJ", but the venue's own contact page (cinemadevlugt.nl/contact-2/) and Google Maps both give "1063 BJ" — "1063 BIJ" does not match the standard NL postcode format (4 digits + 2 letters) — left as-is (no venue-level notes field exists) pending confirmation.
