Art-house cinema in Ljubljana · Opened 1 Oct 2008
Opened in 1923 as Ljubljanski dvor and revived as Ljubljana’s city art-house cinema in 2008, Kinodvor combines contemporary independent film with festivals, filmmaker visits and programmes for children, schools and older audiences. The historic cinema also serves as a cultural meeting place with a café and an intimate Small Hall. Food and drinks are not permitted in the indoor auditoriums, preserving a quiet and undisturbed viewing experience; screenings start punctually, and tickets cannot be purchased after a film begins.
