Archival cinematheque in Ljubljana · Opened 1 Jul 1963
Slovenska kinoteka is Slovenia’s national cinematheque, preserving and presenting film history through archival screenings, retrospectives, restorations, exhibitions, publishing and education. Its Silvan Furlan Hall has screened films since 1963 and remains one of the country’s few venues capable of regularly presenting films from original film prints as well as digital formats. In keeping with traditional cinematheque etiquette, food and drink are not allowed in the auditorium.
